How to begin to express and put into words how wonderful Trends were and how exciting that they are now up and running again would take an authors pen to book!

So from my personal experience I shall start from the beginning: They were my first building block from leaving drama college in 1982.The wonderful care,experience,expertise, professionalism, advise,knowledge and nurturing from Jamie Phillips , Dougie Squires, Anthony Johns and the team were second to none.! Their warmth and friendship always shone like a protective family and I would not be where I am today without them! I cherish my years with them and now so happy that they have launched again! I couldn't recommend them highly enough!

I have known and worked with Trends since 1992 when we did the huge Celebration for The Queen’s 40th Anniversary together. It was brilliantly Directed and Choreographed by Dougie Squires and Antony Johns. They also provided many of the beautiful costumes for the large cast.

Since then they have worked with me on countless Royal and National Celebrations – including the 50th Anniversary of VE Day in Hyde Park, ‘Joy to the World’ in the Royal Albert Hall, The Royal Tournament in Earls Court, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother’s 100th Birthday Celebration on Horse Guards and the 1,000 Horse Celebration ‘All The Queen’s Horses’ at Windsor.

They are a team of tremendous talent and creativity for whom nothing is too much trouble. Their attention to detail is superb, their costumes original and stunning and they are both a joy to work with.

Nothing fazes them – from a massed camel battle in Saudi Arabia set to music, to a cast of 3,000 for a musical extravaganza in Hyde Park or a 6,000 strong children’s choir in the Royal Albert Hall. All were delivered with excellence and aplomb.

Many years ago I heard a very sad announcement. Trends was closing down. How could an institution like this just disappear. Where would I get my fabulous costumes made. Where would I go to chat to the nicest people in the business. Well they did disappear, BUT, it's time to rejoice. Trends is rising from the ashes. AND, the famous Dougie and LV's favourite son Anthony are back at the helm.
